No equipment costs
According to calculations by the Danish Consumer Agency, a family needs more than 4 people for washing at home to cost less than using Vaskeriget.
The cost of a washing machine, any tumble dryer, installation and repairs must be spread over the total number of washes during the machines’ lifetime, with electricity and water costs added.
A person living alone or a family of two to three people does not wash often enough.
Gentle washing
Our machines are gentle on your clothes.
A wash takes 35–40 minutes, compared with 1–2 hours in a standard washing machine, depending on the programme.
Longer wash cycles also mean more wear on clothes. At Vaskeriget, you wash in softened water, allowing water and detergent to penetrate the fabric more quickly and effectively (surface tension is reduced).
This helps you get a better wash in less time.
